What data we collect

Nudgely collects the following categories of information in connection with our Shopify app and storefront popups:

• Phone numbers — when a shopper opts in through a popup or lead-capture form on a merchant's store.
• Store domain — the merchant's Shopify shop domain (for example, example.myshopify.com) to associate configuration, popups, and subscribers with the correct store.
• Popup interaction data — such as which popup or game type was shown and related engagement signals used to operate the service for merchants.

How we use your data

We use this information to display popups on merchants' storefronts according to their settings and to capture leads for merchants who use Nudgely — for example, to record phone numbers they have collected with consent so merchants can follow up with offers and marketing they have chosen to send.

Data storage

Data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL). Data is encrypted at rest as provided by our infrastructure and database provider. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information.

Data sharing

We do not sell subscriber or shopper phone numbers, and we do not share that data with third parties for their own marketing. Information is used to provide the Nudgely service to the merchant whose store collected it, and as required to operate, secure, and comply with law.

Merchant data & deletion

Merchants who use Nudgely may request deletion of their store's data (including associated subscriber records tied to their shop) by contacting our support team. We will respond in line with applicable privacy requirements.

SMS / phone compliance

Phone numbers are collected only with explicit consent, through clear opt-in language on popup and lead-capture forms. Recipients may opt out at any time (for example, by replying STOP to SMS where applicable). Nudgely is designed to support merchant compliance with applicable rules, including TCPA and related telemarketing and texting regulations, when merchants use the service responsibly and disclose their own practices to shoppers.
